On January 22, 2024, our Great Lakes Links Chapter members hosted an interactive session for high schools students focusing on mental health. The Therapeutic Yoga Outreach program was held at Cass Technical High School in Detroit, with more than 30 ninth grade students in attendance. Instructor Kimberli Boyd focused on breathing exercises, mindfulness and beginner yoga techniques to reduce anxiety and stress. Students received yoga mats and yoga stretch bands as gifts.
