2026 Community Mini-Grant Application NOW OPEN
Our Great Lakes Links Chapter is proud to partner with and support other non-profit organizations in the Metropolitan Detroit area. In addition to the community partners with whom we develop programming, our Philanthropy Committee provides monetary support to several local organizations each year.
To be considered for funding, an organization must be a 501(c)3 nonprofit, providing an IRS tax determination letter and an annual operating budget.
Each application will be reviewed by an evaluation committee and awarded points based on the following criteria:
- Mission Alignment – Assess the extent to which the project aligns with the mission of The Links, Incorporated (as outlined in Section 2 of the application), as well as the mission of the applicant organization.
- Impact – Evaluate the potential impact of the proposed project on the targeted community. Consider factors such as reach, depth, and sustainability of outcomes.
- Feasibility – Review the feasibility of the project plan, including the timeline, budget, and resources required for successful implementation.
- Innovation – Consider the level of creativity demonstrated in the project proposal, as well as the potential for new approaches or solutions.
- Budget – Submit an itemized budget that accounts for the detailed funding of the planned project.
Application deadline is March 10, 2006 at 11:59 p.m.
